The original Fish Ashtray was delicate and of an asymmetrical design. This example from 1971 is in Seagull Blue glaze and signed by long-time potter Janet Pinsonneault. As smoking fell out of favor, the design was repurposed to become our current Fish Spoon Rest. These are increasingly hard to find, especially in blue. Perfect condition, 5.25 inches long, 2 inch height at the tail.
