We occasionally made fish hot plates, but this is the only one we have found that is a flounder, with both eyes visible. This one dates from the 1980s and measures about 5 by 7.5 inches with a hole for hanging. The eyes are pressed in and the other details are sgraffito in rich and lustrous Seagull Blue glaze. Some very minor scratches near the tail, but you have to look closely.
