Hi. We’re Peter Pots.
That’s right, we. There is no one Peter Pots, but rather, a small group of people handcrafting award-winning pottery designs at our historic mill studio and showroom in West Kingston, Rhode Island.
We’ve been making our pottery since 1948, and in the years since, generations of collectors have come to cherish the Peter Pots Stoneware for its timeless beauty, everyday usefulness, and lasting durability.
Everything we make is food and dishwasher safe.
An icon of Peter Pots Pottery, the Tea Pot is instantly recognizable. A beautifully designed object that handles easily and pours gracefully. Holds 32 oz. $48.
Perhaps our most well-known design, the Grandfather’s Cup, with its comfortable handle, is the one everyone reaches for first in the cupboard. Holds 16 oz. $18.
Iced Coffee Cup
Don’t let the name fool you, this cup’s tall design works perfectly for cold drinks, but will hold a generous amount of hot coffee or tea just as well. Holds 16 oz. $18.
This stoneware baking dish looks stunning and bakes wonderfully. Use it for all your favorite pie recipes, or as an all-purpose baking dish. 10” diameter. $38.
The cuter the pie, the better it tastes. Okay, so maybe not always, but at least it’s cute! The pie bird is a steam vent you bake into the center. 3” height. $14.
The Cookie Baking Set
The Cookie Baking Set combines everything needed to make, serve, and store your favorite cookies. Save a little money, too, when buying the set! $125.

A quiet respite from a busy world
Nestled in the woods next to the mill stream and waterfall, the historic Glen Rock Mill has been our home since 1954. Though just a short drive from the main road, our peaceful location in the glen feels miles away from the busy modern world.
In our showroom, you can browse our full selection of pottery as well as a carefully chosen collection of accessories, art, antiques, clocks, furniture, home decor, and local goods. Being an artistic work, our pottery is tax-free in Rhode Island.
Peter Pots Pottery is located just off Route 138 in West Kingston, RI, half way between Rt. 95 and the University of Rhode Island. Look for the Peter Pots sign 6.5 miles east of Interstate 95 (exit 3) and 1.5 miles west of Rt. 2. Click the pin on the map to see directions from Google Maps.
