The simplicity of this tapered cylindrical vase belies the fact that it is over six decades old, dating from the mid to late 1950s. It is of ample size, measuring 9” tall and 4 1/4” in top diameter. It appeared only in a late 1950s catalog, also shown here. This is the only example of this vase we have seen. It looks perfect, but unfortunately is has one nearly-invisible hairline crack extending about 1 1/2” down from the top. It is still beautiful, but we would use it for display only.
