The Grandfathers' Cup isn’t only beloved by grandpa, but everyone. This cup is one of our most popular designs, and one of the largest mugs we make. Its unique handle has been meticulously designed to give its holder a comfortable grip, no matter how they choose to grab it.

Each piece is completely handcrafted and signed "Peter Pots." There is a slight variation between pieces, and if you are ordering several pieces, we make every effort to pick items as similar as possible. We strive to keep all items in stock, but we may need to make something for your order. Please allow up 2 weeks for our potters to make your pieces.

The Peter Pots Coffee Cup has become a staple in Rhode Island, and its design dates the eary 1950s. The bottom-heavy design feels substantial and satisfying, and the two-finger handle stays cool and provides a comfortable and stable grip. It pairs with the Off-Center saucer.

The Tea cup has a comfortable handle that stays cool. It pairs with our Tea Saucer.

The Espresso Cup has long been requested by espresso aficionados. These durable stoneware cups feature a tapered design for optimal thermal insulation, as well as provide the ideal width for a perfectly perched layer of crema. The versatile four-ounce capacity comfortably holds a single or double shot of espresso, and even leaves room for you to add steamed milk for a delicious traditional macchiato.

Pinched tumblers were a favorite of Mid-Century Modern potters and one of our earliest designs. Our Pinched Tumbler is an updated version of the classic style and is available in both tall and small sizes.

Raise a glass to our Cordial, our smallest tumbler that serves aperitifs, liqueurs, or sake in mid-century style. Originally made to accompany our award-winning Decanter at the 1953 Museum of Modern Art Good Design Show. Perfectly sized to hold a tea light or votive candle for dining, too!

The Cup Lid fits the Tea, Coffee, and Grandfathers' Cups and helps keep the contents piping hot, or set it to one side to hold a tea bag.
